Maison Interdite

Visited in 2016 with Martin and Becci on a summer tour of Belgian locations.

Entry was delayed for ages as the next door neighbour decided to paint his fence so we had to wait for ages until the coast was clear. Inside this lovely house were the remnants of past lives just left behind.

The interior was painted a gorgeous 1950s aqua which added to the vintage feel.

The usual religious artefacts still in situ, statues and paintings all over the house. One upstairs bedroom which looked like the master bedroom, had a lovely vintage child's bed next to the window. Maybe for when a grandchild came to stay?
