Manor Crucible
This house was just huge with so many rooms all stacked full of possessions and furnishings from the previous occupants. It took a good few hours to photograph the entire house.
Visited with Ian (Antonymes) in 2024, the house has suffered extensive decay with foliage making its way inside the house suggesting it has been abandoned for many years.
Ive no real information on the previous occupants suffice to say it was an elderly gentleman that lived here with his son. However, when they left and weather they are still alive is anyone's guess.
Its clear that there was a real interest in snooker here as the main dining room housed a full size snooker table taking up most of the floor space as well as a smaller table in another dining room.
Vintage dial telephones scattered around the house add to the vintage feel and throughout the house there is a vintage feel with little by the way of anything modern.
I can imagine this house was quite a grand and handsome home in its day, sadly it seems to have been left to its own devices and is suffering the fate of time and neglect.
