Hardly any history at all can be found on this abandoned site of  G & B Gardner & Newton Ltd.  They are still a manufacturer of a wide variety of glass products to this day yet this factory has been abandoned for many years and was their former factory site.

Luckily for me a friend knew the key holder so I was offered the chance to go inside and photograph it even though factories aren't my usual photographic locations. Some nice decay yet not much remaining inside except some left behind bits and ieces in the office and some workers clothing still hung up. 

Still nice to photograph it however and document a once busy factory post abandonment.
